IndianaÕs
On Board
January
19, 2008
Indiana
finally joined the Great Lakes Federation.
BP
is currently showing a commercial about how they sponsor clean energy and new
technology.
This
seems like a direct response to their ridiculous plan to dump more pollutants
into Lake Michigan last year. The
southern shore of Lake Michigan is already one of the most degraded and
polluted areas on the planet. The
govÕt has been cleaning toxic chemicals from the Calumet area for years. Plus, millions and millions of people
get their drinking water and recreation from Lake Michigan. What were they thinking?
Fortunately,
this nefarious scheme by BP and Indiana was halted. IÕm glad they finally joined the Great Lakes
Federation. I can shelve my plans
to become governor and use IllinoisÕ National Guard to invade the Hoosiers and
seize their lakeshore.
LetÕs
clean the Great Lakes and keep all the water (except ChicagoÕs) within the
watershed.
