Flowers
: little, bright yellow tulips edged in white. Several flowers per stem

Foliage: strap-like, fades in June

Culture
: full sun in well drained soil. Do not water during summer dormancy. Species tulips are smaller, but more reliable year to year than large hybrids. T. humilis, T. bakeri 'Lilac Wonder', and T. 'Little Princess' are also good choices. Protect from rabbits and voles!
